Well, I understand it's heavily covered with a phaser/flanger. but I need to know what kind of sond they are primarily using it with. Guest A/D
sounds like a recording of something being struck. i'd say minimal effects, maybe some distortion. doesn't sound overly flanged or phased to me. you are talking about the 'kick' sound, right? it comes in just at 0.26. the snare also sounds like this to me; most of the other drum sounds are more 'standard'. Nah, the high sounding industrial hydraulic sound. Quote Link to comment https://forum.watmm.com/topic/37723-industrial-percussian/#findComment-821235 Share on other sites
pcock
sounds like staple industrial kit sample pack with wave Enigma on or something. why dont you make your own sounds instead of spending time trying to figure out how others have made it? Guest Wall Bird
It could just simply be a sample. I'd get in the habit of knocking on things until you find the sound you want and then load it up and place a filter envelope on it. Guest epsy
perhaps if you experimented a bit like they did to get the sound, you'd come up with something even more interesting than what you're trying to emulate. soundwave
Sounds like an analogue tom or snare though a distortion with a enveloped LPF. Putting drum machines thu guitar distortion pedals is great for industrial percussion, Mr RDJ based the early part of his career around it!
