May I present the entries for Round 2 of the WATMM Monthly Remix Competition

(For the story up till now, see this original thread, and also the round 1 voting and round 2 kickoff thread)

Our source track was 'Roll Plymouth Rock' by Brian Wilson, chosen by Lights Set North, the winner of Round 1. If you're not familiar with the source track you can hear it on YouTube.

We have 10 entries, which for the purposes of the poll have been anonymised:

(track titles are as submitted, artist names have been changed)

As before, please listen to the remixes, maybe copy them to your MP3 player, chill with them for a bit, listen to them in the car, on the bus. Then cast your vote.

This poll will run for 1 week, until 23:00 GMT on Saturday 20th September.

Then the winner will be un-masked, and they will choose the source track for Round 3. Hence Round 3 will probably start on Sunday 21st or maybe Monday 22nd, and then everyone will have 4 weeks to get creative with a new source track.

Thanks for your attention, and thank you to all those who submitted tracks!

very interested to hear who AnonG is , its my favorite so far and i think i already know that Monolith (or perhaps another Tussin like master from the forum - Ludd? ) is AnonB , not a bad track either!

anonc is great when it all gets going with the drums at the end

anon b and e are good as well, lots of tussy acidy stuff in this

I think this deserves to be in GB. it's about the music itself, not the making thereof

Good idea, I have posted a link in General Banter.

anon A is very burial-esque... 'cept not as good.

G, F and H are the most original and inventive imo.

God anonF is so odd with the AH OOLAH EEH ULAH but I love it. That particular track I'd love to see on an album full of similar stuff.

at first it sounded like the only remix that was built only using samples from the original song until that beat came in at the middle/end.

wish that arpeggio melody went on for a little longer or developed more at the end
