some IDM music, listen and let me know what you think

been struggling to find time lately, but i pieced this one together. haven't even really had a chance to listen it over yet...

but i'm posting with hopes that you all have very helpful feedback to make it easier to fix it or trash it...

pads remind me of afx and the beat remind me of ae

i think the drums could use more ...sparseness? they seem a bit cluttered and maybe you could simplify them and work more on the rhythm/flow of the beat

this kind of thing is hard to criticize/comment on

i used 5 different kits on this track, and the mixing was a headache. i hear what you're saying. it was my biggest problem area with the track too.

Love the contrast of the lovely pads and complex beat! :)

I'll have to listen to it again later on some decent speakers, because I was listening to it on my laptop.
