tensor in green

there's a few things on this album like nothing else in tom's stuff, but fuck me, this is the best.

i'd love an ep of this style stuff. it reminds me of the mars volta with more electronics and less turgid progwank. it wails.

i'm also starting to hear a kind of thin sheen of zappa all-over-the-shop cohesiveness from the album. it really works as a whole, at least so far.

i think this album is the proper beginning (see c-town smash or tetrasync for embryonic versions) of a very interesting phase in scary genius tom's music

Pretty much; this, A Real Woman and Planet Gear. But I forgot Star Time 2, so it's actually four already. And I think Quadrature may sneak up on the blindside as well, although it may not sound like much at first. I've a feeling I might get even more out of this album as I go on.

This album has made my week, and I haven't been able to say that in a while. It's caught me at just the right time.

I agree... its the album is a brilliant peice of work and tensor is a standout track..... very catchy. I hope he plays it live at the gigs........ headbanging as fook!

i just realised how fucking great this is. i was in the middle of typing somethin, and halfway through the track i just sat back in total awe. i agree with LUDD, it's of RDJ album tier.
