Alzado
if anybody here cares or remembers, I used to post tracks here under the name catholic. i still write the occasional track, though not as prolifically as i used to. any way, i continue despite my record of failure. attached are three demos that i'm working on. sorry for the bother. bc Pure_Physics_At_Play.mp3 4.07 MB · 45 downloads 25_Miles_From_Happy.mp3 4.44 MB · 36 downloads Thanks Haha Confused Sad Facepalm Burger Farnsworth Big Brain Like × Quote Hide Alzado's signature Hide all signatures RIP Farm Eagle Link to comment https://forum.watmm.com/topic/38031-2-demo-tracks/ Share on other sites

pylonbitch
i think your work with samples has come a long way. it appears to be slightly at the expense of your (actually quite stunning) sense of melody. tight stuff nonetheless. i prefer the physics one... the micro production is lovely. nice. awepittance
like both of these a lot, i didnt know you made music. i would like to make more music like this, sample based stuff but i always find drum loops that are too low quality. I used to go to this site called 'phatsos' to get my breaks/loops but they were always like 22khz. where do you think i should go to get good quality drum loops? Alzado
i tend to use a combination of sampling breaks myself and downloading breaks that other people have collected. i do all beats in Reason, so i use everything in Recycle format. I have a Reason Refill called "Essential Breaks" or something like that that contains all the classic breaks in .rx2 format. otherwise, it's all just stuff that I've sampled myself over the years and collected on me hard drive. i've been making tracks since about 1998 or so, but have little to show for it. i don't really have the time to devote to it that i used to with work and kids and stuff, but i still try to make time for it every now and then. Guest Carlito Jay
Listened to first track. Absolutely loving it from the get-go. May be an idea to get some rap over it (waits for boos). Favourite part is the ending melody. You should give it a proper outro, its good :) Track number 2: Once again a great intro and love the phased sounds going on as well as the brass. Overall you should most definately hook up with a rapper or vocalist and both tracks get the thumbs up from me.
