who collects ´em all?

Who of you finds it important enough (or is crazy enough) to collect all issuances of RDJ releases? like the new SAW 85 92, Classics Come To Daddy releases?

where does collection stops and just enjoying music begins? or should this be the other way round?

AND WHO IS FINALLY PUTTING SOME PICS OF CAT002 ONLINE??? (or am i missing something out???)

I collect the re-issues sometimes when I have the money for them. I do like to collect the promos and the white labels, but don't usually care about the different versions from different labels unless there is something exlcusive to that particular release. The originals are more important to me as a collector as they are much harder to track down and are the 'official' release

The extreme is when you own it on every format, Vinyl, Cassette and CD...

mmmm...i tend to cellect every release on every format. Some are cool, like the SAW II cassette and the Pacman 7 ``!

LOL maybe cause production-wise it sounds ridiculously bad? way too much compression. Listen to Windowlicker: excellent production. Actually I dont give a fuck about come to daddy.

i think that was conception. RDJ never used heavy dynamic compression on any other release.

I have the reissues of classics and selected...because the normal ones weren't avaliable anymoar.

they were very expensive too, because of those new jewelcases.

and yeah when was come to daddy reissued?

i think all CTD in store are represses. windowlicker is a repress as well.

I bought classics on vinyl and saw on cd a while ago, don't care about the originals

:angry: i've bought SAW & Classics re-issue in vinyls in 2006, after i've bought SAW & Classics re-issue in cds in 2008, i don't collect them, just want them in my collection!

Analogue Bubblebath 4 is probably one of the best reissues, since it finally comes in a jewel case, rather than the cardboard sleeve the original came in.

If you are patient, there are loads of original CDs available. I got my SAW 85-92 (original) from Discogs for 10€ shipping included, as new. Then I remastered the CD myself with that small freeware which works fine with right plugins.

yes i've got 3 cds of AB4, one from 1993 with these following tracks : (elephant song) (gibbon) (cuckoo) (sloth) (knievel), one from 1997 with these following tracks : (elephant song) (cuckoo) (gibbon) (sloth) (knievel) both r in cardboard sleeve & the last from 2003 in a jewel case with these following tracks : (elephant song) (cuckoo) (gibbon) (sloth) (knievel)! Don't understand why (gibbon) track were not in the second track as in cds from 1997 & 2003... :angry:

:angry: it's the same music than one from 2003 & the same cardboard sleeve than one from 1993... i would understand what do u want... :embrassed:

the first issuance of ABB 4 came with different information on the cardboard sleeve. It doesnt have a email adress on it. The music is the same. I more like the ABB 3 with bubblebag and different stickers. That one also has a more common 1997 reissuance.
