ebow death

managed to catch this at the end of a jam lastnight. noticed my ebow was getting weaker so i turned off all effects and let it die, hehe. i might put this in a track as a 'guitar solo' at some point.

I was going to ask if I could join pselodux but then I decided I wasn't good enough.

Maybe I could join pseudolux though...

i don't mind, but i'll be using it in a track so you might have to mangle it a bit to make it sound different!

and yes, ebows are great. i'm highly considering getting a second one. or maybe i'll just buy a sustainer pickup instead, heh.

but the great thing about ebows is that they can be used on a lot of other things, like springs, thin bars etc. i'd love to have access to five or six of them and use them on a piano!

Well if I did use it it would be in bits and pieces, and most likely quite heavily mangled as well. But I've decided I'm going to buy one for myself, so I can always stick some dying batteries in it anytime I want that effect. I've always thought they were great ever since trying out my friend's about ten years ago. I'm really shocked that it hasn't occurred to me to go out and buy one until now. It's this thread that sparked that idea off too. So thanks!
