pointy shoes epidemic

has this phenomenon spread across the world yet? pointy shoes are taking over the world...

i can't find a smart pair of shoes that aren't pointy as fuck, extending at least an inch (normally 2 inches or more) and half beyond the end of my foot, squeezing my toes into a rediculous cramped bunch. i just want a nice pair of smart shoes for a wedding that don't make me look like some winkle picker charlie chaplin size 12 stilletto clown.

they make me walk like i'm trying to stop the cum dribbling down my legs. they make you mince and trot, god knows what i'd turn into running for a bus in these things.

i like comfortable shoes, preferably shaped anatomically like a human foot.

wtf's going on? i'm going to have to design my own shoes if i don't want to look like a cross dressing fag prince tribute act.

i was observing and ridiculing this trend in the pub not so long ago

man these coupled with skinny jeans just gets me going...

i know a guy that got a really long pair (a hairdresser - lol) and after he'd worn them a couple of times they looked like this...

yeah it's been happening here in australia for about two years, i'm also having a hard time finding round toed business shoes.. which is why i stick to cherry docs heheh.

the other thing these hipsters seem to must have at the moment is plaid shirts. shops are rammed with the things.

though i haven't worn shoes since the last funeral i attended

i have apair of lighter brown (than below) clerks cornish pasty boots which i wear with jeans.

but i'm wearing a suit to a wedding and they'd look stupid.

course this is the typical cornish pasty boot (i think they're disgusting)...

yeah, i ain't feelin these pointy shoes at all, be it on males or females. somehow looks douchey.
