On November 17 2008 the band will release a BBC Sessions album, which will feature songs from the period of 1996-2001 (including the last recordings featuring Isobel Campbell before she left the band), along with a second disc featuring a recording of a live performance from Christmas 2001. The band is currently on a temporary hiatus with no immediate plans to record a new studio album.

they're on hiatus now so this is all we'll get for a while

I only heard about them like 2 years ago. I like them, but probably only because they're associated with the nice girl who introduced me to them. I find most of their songs hit or miss, but I love Lazy Line Painter Jane.
