Another Electronic Musician - Five

it has been a while since i have released a full length on n5MD, two years to be exact. those two years were not spent idle, but instead resulted in five, an album that expands n5MD into territory it does not often go. for most of n5MD's existence the "electronic music" genre descriptor has been used sparingly and only for those artists that utilized a more strict electronic pallet. the label has shied away from such a specific genre tag because the music created by their artists lacks the "d" of electronic music...yes, dance. that trend changes with five. five puts the dance back into electronic music through the fusion of techno, house, electro, and jazz. the release is unique, yet has the subtler genre signposts to lead the way. it pushes and pulls you to where electronic music used to be before it went astray with its over the top cuts and glitch and puts the focus back in the mind and hips.

does n5md do any shows out in the san francisco bay area? it would be cool to team up with your label with record label records for a live show out here.

sure, bitcrush and near the parenthesis played a show in sf a month or so ago. n5md is based in oakland so shows in sf are easy.

yep. i dont point as much as i used to but i read. i am watmm from way way way back.

this is an excellent album! though i'm a bit puzzled as to why it comes up as an album by "The Naked Pilgrims" on my ipod!

I liked your first two albums. Passed them onto Franklin as part of his secret santa last year. Think I'll have to look into this one.

yeah, its a mystery why that happened. its only on a few of the tracks, we think manufacturer f'ed up. did you d/l or get an actual cd?
