question about korg kontrolPAD

does it have a built in memory so when you shut it off it saves your Kontrol presets?

It sure does. You can save 16 presets at a time. Also you can create and save as many presets as you want on your computer and then transfer them to and from the PadKontrol. However, I have never once been able to successfully upload a setting from my computer to my controller. This is a problem I have yet to resolve so whether or not it is just my computer I do not know.

sounds like a connection problem - i use 2 padKontrols and upload from the PC to PK all the time using the Korg software
