I've figured out why the JAS cover is like it is

It's so they can make different permutations of it for each track.

I was listening to it, and I happen to be staring at the screen of my music player, and the cover kept changing with each one. I think they've just zoomed in on different bits of it. Perhaps it covers the whole cover if you put them all together.
