Its more like it needs more crispyness, like maybe taking an acoustic kick and layering it over the synth kick you had there, but have the channel with the acoustic bumped up with a limiter, maybe, just some white noise and sharp cutting noise with the kick, nothing that specific.

But it works quite well anyway.

I'm doing a sort of re-make of this track, at what point would you want to a hear a second melody come in? Because to be honest I was sort of just going on the 'chilled' vibe of the track but if you think it needs more variation, where exactly should it change?

there are somoe pretty weird chords in this song, really psychedelic the way that tone comes in at the end of each phrase the slow wewewewWEWEWEWEWEWEEEWEWEWEW and the cheesy delay on the cheesy snares
