Poppa large in the US

This is completely jazzband, so sorry for that but i just had to comment that the fusion between IZ-US and Kool Keith's lyrics from the Ultramagnetic Mcs single Poppa Large dating back to 1992 couldn't be a better match. I've been listening to this track for about a week straight now and i just cant get over how well this fusion is. IZ-US was always a favorite of mine but its interesting to hear how another person puts that track into a different perspective and has a way of also throwing both back into a comtemporary sound.

Anyway, im always intrigued when aphex's work is brought into a new light and thought i'd share that with those unfamiliar with this mix or Kool Keith. If interested check out his album Black Elvis/Lost in Space.

It's funny that it works in part because both tracks follow a very conventional pattern of cadences, despite the fact that neither afx nor kool keith do that normally.

I'd say don't bother checking out black elvis; go for sex style, maybe dr octagon or a better tomorrow

Lol this one is quite good actually, but some of the others on that mashup album are completely raped...

wonder what track they are freestyling over is? real good. like how keith just says fuck it i'll just say things that pop in my head, rather than rely on prewritten lyrics haha peanuts and butter popcorn.
