Guest Hanratty
i need a program that does 303 and 909 for mac. I have rebirth but cant rewire it into ableton live 6, so it does not get much use as it is annoying to switch back and forth between programs all the time. Do you know of any good software that would work well with ableton 6 and mac? I want to make new plastikman. Guest Aces
The d-16 drumazon is a wicked 909 emulation not sure if it works for mac. Not sure i care either. It's a suggestion at least. BCM
AudioRealism Bassline Pro (ABL Pro) and Phoscyon for 303 - best there is: ABL Pro Phoscyon there are new versions of both of these out now that look a little different, but there are the ones I have and they have excellent 303 emulation. the tracks in my signature - MR16 (Mrs Mix) and MR16 (Mr Mix) - (just click on them to play) are examples of the AudioRealism Bassline at work. edit: obviously i have a Mac Edited October 26, 2008 by BCM Thanks Haha Confused Sad Facepalm Burger Farnsworth Big Brain Like × Quote Hide BCM's signature Hide all signatures Bandcamp | Spotify | SoundCloud | Amazon | Apple Music | YouTube | YouTube Music | Deezer | Google Play Music Link to comment https://forum.watmm.com/topic/39336-303-and-909-emulators/#findComment-861337 Share on other sites

That Phoscyon sells for 319 euros! the other is $200. i dont have that kind of cash for software. maybe it's back to rebirth... qnio
if i were you, i'd be happy with some 909 wav samples instead of a vsti emulation. seriously. they sound like shit imo. as far as a 303 vsti, check the audiorealism bassline (not the "pro" one, the smaller, yellow one). it's "closer to the real thing"; just 2 oscillators, etc, etc. (easier to program, too). the phoscyon 303 sounds too thin, in my opinion, but it has some nice features if you like 'em (this also goes for the audiorealism bassline pro). BCM
the pro one has exactly the same features as the smaller yellow one except it can do more. it's also just as easy to program - i have both versions and like using the pro one better as you can get much more interesting acid noises out of it instead of "just" the standard 303 noise. Phoscyon on it's own is 59euros. btw, the 808 & 909 they make sound really good too, best I've heard imo. http://www.d16.pl/index.php?menu=3 Edited October 31, 2008 by Dubreak Quote Link to comment https://forum.watmm.com/topic/39336-303-and-909-emulators/#findComment-865325 Share on other sites
