Guest the televisor
anyone have any idea what he might be using to make the percussion in some of the tracks? especially the effects on girl/boy & yellow calx, does he like make some beats, then freestyle live with the delay/resonators/filters etc on certain samples or what? some of you people must know how he does some of it? Guest Tamas
I don't know if it was originally made with digital hardware, but most of that can be done with simple samplers and a properly placed gating on all the hits. Gating properly is very important I'd say. Either way, most of the other stuff would simply be dynamic distortion and compression, tweaked when climaxes come etc. Either way I know of one bit of software that (apparently) he used for cutting up samples and so on, but I don't know if it's true and either way it'd be better to jump into the wild with whatever you've got... =) Oh and never forget that you can simply sequence delay. Makes it much easier to control than actually using a delay plugin or effect/pedal...
