Song Made from Only Windows XP and 98 Sounds

matt tuozzo(Cerebral) made a remix of windows sounds I believe, back in the day.

me and my buddies remixed it and put guitars over it, was a lot of fun.

i did the same thing a couple of years ago with windows xp sounds

Ace. Pity that the USB connection sound didn't crop up though, I love that one (the XP version that is, the remix on Vista is shit).

i put this on even though 'will she come back' by cliff martinez (solaris soundtrack) was on. anyway, it went perfectly. it was also perfectly timed, they ended at the same time. it was quite beautiful.

the song is nice but it was even nicer with pretty strings. you could add the start-up sound or whatever to it

you know, i always thought when i did this that if it had a video, that is just a screenshot of windows xp with all the appropriate things happening in time with the music, like folders popping open, little windows poppin up and closing and what not, all synced to the sound events then it would have worked great as a little commercial for windows or microsoft or whatever

Why isn't catbarf in Windows sounds anymore? I loved that as a kid.
