midi editing for mac ala midi ox

basically i need to disable some cc, re-route others - generally fuck around with incoming midi before it hits virtual ports. is there any program that can do this simply in mac? ... without resorting to max msp/ pure data?

There's midipipe (i think its called), but i haven't used that so I can't recommend it, but it loks like you can do shitloads with it.

There's also controlaid which I don't really understand but using it i've managed to turn the 8 knobs on my oxygen 8 into 128. Not too shabby for a freebie.
