help me please

hey all,

here is a beat driven ambient electronic music track... and i keep getting lost in the FX and am maybe losing sight of the overall song structure.

if you could listen and let me know what sections work and what sections don't it would be much appreciated.

hmm... i think the drums don't work so well in the beginning, but get better towards the end. i am willing to be wrong though... did you listen all the way through?

yea, i didnt listen all the way through i kind of skipped around, i did like the atmosphere, but for me the drums are lacking rhythm and independence, they dont make me want to continue listening

ok, understood. going to work more on the drums a bit.

could you do me a favor, if you have the time, and listen to that last 50 seconds and let me know if the drums are still bad there? is it the kit, or the beat itself?

well, i suppose they work fine, but they seem rather thin, perhaps find a boomier kick and you might try compressing them just a bit
