Guest Tamas
Audiorealism ADM is quite good as well. Though if I'm getting really bored with my drum VSTs/samples, I just take a joint, contact mic, and recording device downtown, and get some nice samples off any bit of metal in the city. Guest pantsonmyhead
waldorf makes one called attack that makes some ridiculous bass sounds and everything is tunable to logical scales so oyu can play retarded huge 808 basslines and shit Quote Link to comment https://forum.watmm.com/topic/40113-drum-synth-vsts/#findComment-918938 Share on other sites
Guest Wall Bird
Battery would be unstoppable if it had a synth built into it and they fixed their compressor. For now it's only got DSP and a great sample library. A bit off topic, really. Come to think of it, I never use synth drums. I only mangle existing audio. It's got it's disadvantages, I suppose. If I really had to choose a synth it would be Sculpture, btw. Guest emef
i'll have a look at microtonic... ta and gotta say, fxpansions customer service is brilliant i bought the boxed dr008 when it came out at some point during a house move i lost the box with the cd etc then after some computer hell i lost my working copy of the dr008 so i contacted fxpansion telling them the email address i thought i used to buy it and my name they didn't have a record of it any more cos it was a long time ago but they still issued me with a new serial number and sent me a download link for the last version of the software very nice of them i thought Quote Link to comment https://forum.watmm.com/topic/40113-drum-synth-vsts/#findComment-919972 Share on other sites

Guest emef
my mates got the rack attack (hardware version) very hard to program... well... i gave up after an hour or so its not half the fun of the software version people tend to look down on old software as not really up to scratch , thats a mistake in the case of the waldorf attack Edited January 11, 2009 by emef Quote Link to comment https://forum.watmm.com/topic/40113-drum-synth-vsts/#findComment-920095 Share on other sites
