Did Dr. Dre do any pre NWA albums or just a couple singles/eps like the one you spun?

world class wreckin' cru and some solo records. his best output for sure. 'dre's beat' being my favorite.

i enjoyed your set, what are those drum machines you were using?

me personally, i was really, really pissed off about their pa and equipment. the mixer was held together with duct tape, sounded like shit and i couldn't hear my mix through their headphones, and the tonearms were all fucked up and way off balance. if there is a next time, i'll bring my own shit.

with that being said, i had fun, though i wished we started earlier in the evening.

Yeah Dr. Dre has a lot of stuff before NWA... all of it is his best too. Look for the Dr. Dre Old School Swap Meet Mixes... really fucking good. I think next time you come down, we should just throw a house party.
