would u jump in front of aphex right before he's about to

Recommended Posts

let's say you knew that he had at least 2 more albums in him in addition to SAW 3 due out in 2012, and you were at a show and you saw he was about to get assassinated, would u jump in front and take the bullet if you knew you could save his life and thereby give the world 2 more Aphex albums + Saw 3??

No. I doubt he'd appreciate it and he'd probably scrap the albums anyway and just give copies to Luke Vibert and Grant Wilson-Claridge. But if I could survive without being too seriously disabled and receive a complimentary CAT 023, I might just think about taking one for the team and try to save his ginger arse.

If the albums are already finished they will be released anyway, in memory of him.

+ a shitload of unreleased tracks.

now that you bring Richard's mortality subject on the table, perhaps we will hear everything until the man is dead.

To answer your question, there's no point in dying when:

1. security onstage would take the bullet.

2. you risk your life being lost in vain if he erases the albums as said above.

3. How could you make it in time to jump and take the shot? with all the people in your way i dont see it happening.

4. you could just scream really loud to tell him he needs to get down.

5. with all the stuff he has infront of him its not easy to shoot him anyway.

6. you could push people to make the guy with the gun fall.

7. jumping infront of the bullet doesnt mean he cant take another shot quickly while eveybody is in shock.

8. With all the rave activity going on with the crowd, and the lights, its not easy to aim and hit the target successfully.

9. Richard doesnt have such status to make fans want to murder him.

10. You wouldnt get to hear the albums anyway!

Now what kind of place would Richard be playing in that someone with a gun can get through the security check? as far as i know security is more tight now after dimebag and 9/11

However, if you did save Richard you would earn his trust and respect, and you could even go to his house! (if you survive) he could even dediciate a track to you, and you would be the ultimate electronic music hero.

If Richard's life was to be ended in such sudden and unffair manner, his legacy would remain. But a part of music dies with him that day, no one will ever fill his shoes, Aphex would be upgraded from legend to Cult, maybe his input in the evolution of music would be discussed in schools, but there's still hope of more electronic music, he has already given birth to children, if raised properly and electronic music is in their genes, they will carry on the legacy of their father.

I suppose the legendary status of being 'the man who took the shot for RDJ' would increase my chances of p00n. Even if I was dead.

Yes definitely because I know I could listen to rhubarb being played by angels on an Elektron Harpmachine.

I'M SORRY FOR BEING ME I CAN'T HELP THE WAY I AM

no lol.

if he dies he will be even more of a legend and we might get to hear the unreleased shit and finally find out what the fuck his life was all about when some pretentious fuck on bbc2 makes a documentary about him.

Boris seems more like the "slink into Aphex's room while he's sleeping and slowly suffocating him while crying and screaming I love you I love you" kinda guy.

certainly if all of that was true u wouldnt have to take the bullet, but i'm sayin if you assessed the situation and that no other way to save RDJ's life other than jumpin in front of the uzi and taking a bullet for him, then would u? I answer yes everytime.

Im not sure yet. maybe i would.

ok fine just 1 bullet from the uzi, the rest get sprayed around into some laptops and PAs cause the assassin is so pissed that you blocked his shot

No but I'd solve his the crime in regards to his murderer, and the first place I'd start is the crazy fucks who tried to poison him in russia.

yeah something like that would be good, remind him that he needs to release those ablums, i think he would anyway, he hasn't made them yet they're just in him and i think saving his life would be pretty obvious that he has good fans and needs to make more good music and put it out there
