ACP038: RL/VL - Orating Lion

In 1990, a lion child was born to human parents in Dundonald hospital, Northern Ireland. The parents saw the child as an abomination and demanded that it be shot immediately. Before the executioner made it to the delivery room, the lion child had bitten the doctors face off and split his mother vertically before leaping out of the window and onto a car. It wasn't until 2006 that the lion child was seen again by a homeless person named Clarence. Clarence had heard strange noises coming from an abandoned building in the centre of Belfast. It turns out that the lion child had stolen some synthesizers from various local indie bands and decided to have his way with them through some Tesco Value near-field monitors. These tracks were recorded using a microphone hidden inside a watermelon and recorded onto Sainsbury's 7 track tape recorders at 53hz bit-rizzlewidth.

I've been downloading various net-label releases that have been linked to on this sub-forum in the hope of finding something new and interesting. I hadn't really listened to your music before RL/VL (sorry) but I thought I'd give it a try. I'm glad I did because this EP is frickin' awesomesome! Just the type of quality I was hoping to find. :ok:

Given that wAgAwAgA's mrepsican is also on acroplane I'm going to have to check out a lot of the previous releases now. I should have been paying attention earlier.
