But here's one track with which i'm kinda stuck but want to finish, cause i like the drum sounds and the groove. maybe i should leave out the bassline and and have it as kinda clicky drum track...? but that would need more variation maybe..? dunno.

okay, i guess? I wasn't diggin' the bassline at all and the beats were okay for awhile. I liked how this track ends... I'd work on making a decent bassline and some melodic bits.

intricate woven bits of dirty/crunchy goodness... like eating a cereal bowl of distorted bit crunchies swimming in sour milk... i enjoyed this very much.

hmm yeah i dunno, guess the bassline really is whack. And obviously, the whole thing is a blatant attempt at i-cans-be-awteka-too, not on purpose though. After a while of working on it and listening, things always seem to end up in safe havens imitation land, dunno...

about melodic bits - i find it really hard to use melody in fear of it being cheeeeesay (any attempts in the last few days to change the bassline or add some variation/climax to it have massively failed) so i'll rather drop the synthline completely and see if some rhythm and texture transformation will be tense enough to carry the thing.... .
