Reaper users

im a massive spastic and i cant even figure out how to send midi data to a DB9 from reaper.

im going into the midi in on the rack

and out of the audio back into the soundcard due to lack of midi leads

the crappy demo pattern signal is coming through

but i cant work out how to get the synth to play patterns from reaper

does my stupidity even make any sense?

click io, go to midi out and pick the proper midi out
