Hello. I'd like to audition for the position of guest vocalist.

I know you said that you are working on a vocal line but I have taken the initiative to record my own. :fear:

What do you think?

I actually wrote this originally for my all-time favorite Pselodux song "Twelver" but hadn't recorded it yet (it probably works better with this anyway).

Here's the lyrics in case you can't hear them properly:

Are you nervous?

Well are you?

When you're faced,

With disgrace,

Kick a jerk,

In the face,

Don't use mace,

Use your shoe,

Maybe learn,

Some Kung-Fu.

When the man,

Comes around

Knock his head,

To the ground,

Grab a grip,

Take no shit,

Teach a git,

To be hit.

You need back,

What is yours,

Bang on more,

Than their doors,

No time for,

Subtlety,

Fuck shit up,

Violently.

You have rights,

And mean lefts,

Fists lonely,

And bereft,

Out of sheer,

Sympathy,

Smack those cunts,

Blatantly.

Are you nervous?

Well are you?

Feel sick of,

Feeling sick,

Smash a creep,

In the dick,

Don't hold back,

Use some force,

Anger will,

Take it's course.

You will feel,

Nice and calm,

Then you hear,

The alarm,

Run and run,

Duck and weave,

Hide somewhere,

Never leave.

You are small,

No-one sees,

When you squat,

Behind trees,

Formulate,

Plot and scheme,

Mastermind,

Vengeful dreams.

Take a vow,

Drink some blood,

Spread yourself,

All in mud,

Learn to cast,

Voodoo spells,

Send your foes,

Straight to hell.

Maybe learn,

Some Kung-Fu.

Teach a git,

To be hit.

Fuck shit up,

Violently.

Smack those cunts,

Blatantly.

Anger will,

Take it's course.

Hide somewhere,

Never leave.

Mastermind,

Vengeful dreams.

Send your foes,

Straight to hell.

hahah that was awesome! i had something totally different in mind though, but can i use that vocal on another track? i'm working on a couple of tracks in the same style, maybe send the vocal by itself to me so i can use it? i think it'd sound great in a track that is more minimal with a really straight monotone bassline.

Glad you liked it, it was fun to do because your track has such a PUMP UP THE JAM HOME BOY! I am intrigued as to how it might sound in a more minimal track though.

Here's the solo vocals:

I took some of the effects off so you have more leeway to add your own (but I did leave the fuzz distortion as it seemed kind of essential).

Faith No More! I often forget them because I'm Bungleholic but they were epic (alright, pun intended).

Here's a question regarding your track: did you write the chords on your guitar or did you go straight into Buzz?

nope, it was straight from a buzz 'session', a track i started about a year ago. the original track sounds quite different, it has congas and such, zole!
