I Need A Vocoder VST

Any help greatly appreciated.

I "built" the vocoder that i use in ableton with just ableton effects, i've never used fruityloops so i dont know what it's routing options are like. If you read up on how old vocoders work you can kind of emulate their basic architecture with software effects.

I reckon it's better that way because you can still use whatever synth you like as the carrier, instead of being limited to the softsynth carrier within the vst. So if you've got a nice hardware synth lying about you can use that, or your fave softsynth.

The bit of vocoding at the end of the tune i just posted in ylc was done on ableton with roland mks70 as a carrier, sounds alright...it would sound better if i wasn't singing into my headphones plugged into an input on the soundcard :laughing: if i was doing it with an actual mic it would be about a million times clearer.

I don't know anything about vocoder vsts though, there are probably some good ones.
