go see them do a live/dj set - much fun will ensue. the world needs tBd (in any guise) and these dudes are working as hard as any out there, don't seem to have a weekend off. you gotta love that shit. bring on the trumpets!

I'm new to tBD, haven't heard any of the albums yet, I saw a local shop's got Further Vexations on the shelve, should I get it (for 16 EUR) or do I absolutely have to have heard the old stuff first?

this is the second black dog album i've heard after radio scarecrow. i love them both. it might be a good idea to check out their recent livesets before you take the dive though..

There seem to be current releases still featuring the plaid guys - I thought they are not part of black dog anymore?

It seems they got some samples from The Conet Project during the intro - anyway I think what I hear is nice, I'm not going to listen to the whole set just now, I put the album down on the I'd-kinda-like-this-for-my-birthday-list, let somebody else decide whether they pick it up or not.
