yeah, that's awful. Cringeworthy lyrics too. Funny, there are moments where he sounds like he's trying to imitate robert smith.

Something inside u2's music makes me physically sick. i dont especially see them as a bad, bad band or anything, its just that when i hear their guitars and bono wailing i just actually feel sick.

ok, come on people (meaning, U2/et al.) do some research before you release an album cover….

for those who don’t know what i’m ranting about, U2’s forthcoming album “no line on the horizon” is nearly an exact rip-off of mine and richard chartier’s “specification.fifteen” which came out a couple of years ago. both covers feature a photograph by Japanese photographer Hiroshi Sugimoto. “specification.fifteen” was created directly in conjunction with Sugimoto and his retrospective at the Hirshhorn Museum in Washington DC. so.. before you let people run off about how “cool” the new U2 cover is.. show them ours first…

Eno needs to look at himself. Coldplay was a blot on his resume, but his continuing involvement with these fucking cretins is like a tumour on his reputation.

For a guy that's hand a hand in just about every 3rd or 4th decent artist album I own, from Massive Attack to Depeche Mode to Bowie to Fripp to Genesis and Talking Heads - I honestly don't understand what he gets out of working with those musically inert Irish fuckwits. He can't be skint!
