Drunk On Petrol - HD.

Just finished a tune with a working title of "Haunted Daisies".

Its the first time that I have put up a track for critic anywhere so be critical!

My reviews are really just what pop into my head when I'm listening, so if the sentences look like a 3rd grader wrote them, that's why.

The mixing is pretty good. I like the backround stuff. Airy and eventful without being overbearing, but that melody part really needs to be elaborated upon. Gets really monotonous after a while. And I'm not sure if I like the choice of voice for the melody. Too bubbly for my taste, I guess.

It's a good start. I would make some dynamic changes, and elaborate on the beats, too.

there are 2 bits that are really monotonous really - the high piano type sound, and the lower bass line. Which was it that you didn't really like? Or was it both?

Listening to it again I agree really, it should change more, or perhaps I shouldn't just have it doing the same melody all the time, thats what the other piano type voices was in there to counteract, but then it should shutup after a while!

i wasn't into this at the beginning, but once it gets going it has a weird appeal despite being unashamedly positive. ;) reminds me of travel shows form the mid 90s...

Well I think I am going to take the comments and see what I can do with it. I have some other stuff that I am working on at the moment before I do that though.
