Guest Bad Influence
Really want to carry on with this track but Acid can't seem to open the file anymore. Just sits at 0% loaded till it crashes. Quote Link to comment https://forum.watmm.com/topic/41996-a-track/ Share on other sites

Squee
Great beat programming and great beat samples! It's a shame that you can't open the file in acid anymore, because there's some great potentiel in this tune. Guest Bad Influence
Tell me bout it man. Loved working on this tune but now it seems slightly pointless. Opened up the *.acd in a notepad last night. All I got was a stream of machine code but after comparing it with the code of files that do work I've noticed paterns. Looks like there some stuff missing from the file for this one, reckon Acid didn't save it properly. Tried to open it again last night, left it for about twenty minutes but to no aval. Noticed it forces the CPU useage to 100% for the duration of the process and then crashes after you cancel it. In an effort to stop this happening again I've turned on the option to create a backup file on saving. Hopefully that should save me from any further losses. Guess in a way it's both good and bad that you like it seeing as I can't further it any. lol. Cheers. lala
maybe its a plugin causing the problems? any way of disabling the plugins in acid without mucking up the install of them? the go through the plugins 1 at a time to see if any of them are causing the problems. only thing i can think of atm or an older/newer version of acid Thanks Haha Confused Sad Facepalm Burger Farnsworth Big Brain Like × Quote Hide lala's signature Hide all signatures Beethoven, ages ago, said: To play a wrong note is insignificant. Might try and find a copy of it. Doubt its any renegade plugins at work. Everything else is working fine and I usually stick to around 4 Vsts and maybe 2 VstIs.
