Guest Deep Fried Everything
Sounds simple enough, was just curious how you set up your monitors in the grand scheme of things. I have passive monitors (Usher S-520's), so I have to use a receiver/amplifier in the mix, so to speak... If you also have passive monitors, do you hook up the input from the mixer to your amp, Tape RECORD (RCA In's), and then from your amp again, Tape PLAY (RCA Outs's) to your computer's recording input? I cannae recall what I did last time I set all of this up, and further and more importantly I don't know if I was doing it in the best fashion. Appreciate your input... I'll be hooking mine up hopefully this week and want to experiment with different configurations if it is possible. My main concern is having as clean a signal (low s:n) as possible given the number of different devices the signal has to pass through.
