I deleted a couple of Squarepusher albums earlier tonight and am considering doing the same to the Analord series.

Why not? Why not store them on a separate hard drive.

i got a discog collection, some of his earliest stuff sounds super harsh shit digital, don't listen to it much. guess i could see deleting that. but, the whole folder? absolutely not.

save HD space by loading all your snares files into soundforge. play them all at the same time and record the results to a single mp3. you won't be able to tell the difference between your new snares megamix and any of the individual tracks.
