Red Snapper - A Pale Blue Dot EP

So apparently, Red Snapper are back together, and they released a new EP on Lo Recordings back in October 2008.

After having this revelation earlier this month, I just recieved the EP and I've now listened through it once.

It's good. I hope this means there's a new album coming.

So uhm, it seems they're calling this release an album, well, a mini-album.

Anyway, they're back together, that's good, and they're doing festivals and stuff.

Here's hoping they get to do a new album proper later, then.

Yeah I reviewed this a while back. It's pretty good.

My exposure to Red Snapper has always been limited, I've only ever heard Our Aim Is To Satisfy Red Snapper which is decent. Anyway I stumbled upon their latest Chris Smith EP on Bleep and it's pretty darn good, nice bass-heavy mixes. I will be checking out the Pale Blue Dot release asap, though I assume it'll be on the more mellow side of things.
