multiplayer computer games

ya what do you think are srsly good multiplayer games to play with some friend via internet, one on one?

should be something that doesn't need weeks of training, so no mmorpgs, starcraft, cs etc., just good fun, old or new.

that game with the two blobs playing volley ball is pretty good.

year10 in high school we got pretty much 2 or 3 servers full of students playing half life multiplayer at any given time :D

(installing counter-strike woulda been too much effort). gta1 was also lots of good fun online.
