Guest covenant
Greetings, I need to buy a 25 key midi keyboard. I was looking at the M-AUDIO Axiom 25 and looks very nice. ( http://www.musicstore.de/en_EN/PTE/M-Audio...-SYN0002646-000 ) But I don't want want to use the USB interface. I want to connect it by Midi to my yamaha TX-7 and Alesis SR-16, using Yamaha QY-10 as sequencer. Can someone provide some feedback on this keyboard or recommend a better one? Don't want to spend much more than 150Eur. Best regards and thanks! Quote Link to comment https://forum.watmm.com/topic/42313-portable-midi-keyboard-help/ Share on other sites
Guest acridavid
Most of those MIDI keyboards with USB work standalone if you plug a power supply into it, often 9 volts. The Axiom looks nice anyway. Can't really recommend a much better one in that price range. Guest covenant
thank you all for the replies. I need the aftertouch on the keyboard, and that nano looks amazing for composing on the road, but too small and I need semi weighted keys for piano tracks. The novation is too expensive isn't it? Guest covenant
That Novation look wicked. But a bit out of my league. I am also looking for a Yamaha RM1x so I must take it easy :) Am I the only one suffering from GAS (Gear Acquisition Syndrome)?
