i thought exactly that as i put it in for a test mixdown to give to someone. never wound up taking it out......

i really like the part at :36 but it never builds into something that really sits well with me. i think its the drums

i don't usually do drums like that -- was a first stab. things were pretty muddled at first, but by the time i felt done with it i was starting to get a more coherent sense of what i need to do.

drums on the next one (of this style) will be more on-point.
