Departure

I've been working on a track and i'm looking for some thoughts on what's wrong with it / suggestions on improvement.

i think it takes too long to build up from the start and i found the strings and sequence used a little boring...when it breaks and the wobbly lead synth comes in it's pretty good, I like the pattern for the lead synth....then you drop the lead out and go back to the strings bit again - i think you should have kept the lead synth running....it builds quite nicely, but the patterns and sequences used were not interesting enough for me and i found the whole track a little dull - could do with some more variation and changes. on the production side it sounded thin, not enough bottom end and too much treble. the treble is probably set about right, but it needs some more bass to counter it and give balance imo... also some of the drum hits are a little loud.

Had been a bit unsure about the quieter bits of the track, guess i'll have to beef them up with more synth and add more variation overall.
