ants found one of my boogers

So as some of you may know I usually dispose of my boogers on the carpet or flick them on the wall to clean up later.

Well I flicked a boog on my bathroom wall last night before I went to bed, it was one of those thick ones where you have to put your thumb on the other nostril and then huff out the booger with your lung capacity and it shot to the ground.

This morning I wake up to tinkle and I find ants on the booger and some of them are carrying bits of it back to some hole in the wall. One of the ants was carrying a piece whose weight was probably 80% nostril hair and only 20% booger, which seemed like a waste, but I'm not exactly the one to criticize an ant's work ethic.

Nothing a little Raid didn't fix but I had no idea ants would see boogers as a food source.

So I spent the rest of the morning and afternoon cleaning up my apartment, not just the boogers but everything else laying around, just to shake off the experience.

that must have been quite a 'boog' if one ant couldn't handle it alone. yea a 'boog' is bacteria and crap right, so what use do they have for it? maybe medicinal... you never know.

maybe they were just trying to tidy up your apartment/their apartment, or send a message to you that you should tidy up your apartment... and it worked, ants are clever as fuck.

I'd be so happy to see an ant carrying around one of my boogers.

Boogers are made out of mucus, not dead skin cells.

If you´re going to carry out a holocaust it´s a good idea to at least get your facts straight.

i hate ants. little tiny ones get into my apartment through the heating system and crawl onto my desk. one of them ended up inside my lcd monitor, crawling around behind the glass.

one night in my caravan in holland (which was pretty much positioned on a fucking anthill) we were jagermeistering it up with the skunk and the electronic music. i went to bed and left the bottle of jager open.

next day my neighbour called round with a hangover for a cure. sooo i poured him a shot of jager.

it was inches from his mouth when he stopped and went waaaaaaaaaah. it was thick with ants. the whole remainder of the bottle was a gloopy ant/jager cocktail.

hundreds and hundreds of ants couldn't resist that sweet jager smell during the night and marched to an orderly death in the bottle.

We had ants really bad when we first moved into our apartment.  Not big ones, just the little ones that pick up sugary stuff.  We bought those ant traps and vaccuumed four times a week for two months and they disappeared like magic.

I hear they like worn panties too.

Boogers are dust and shit that your nose hairs keep out of your body.

naah dude there's amino acids and mucus and all sorts of shit in there, that's why boogers are so delicious.

i would imagine they also acquire a slight medicinal, menthol tang in there.
