I just read this whole thing. It's pretty awesome in a completely surreal "holy shit those Japanese are nuts" way.

After this I listened to geogaddi and I didn't like it, I was quite vomitting at some tracks, I realized they were too crazy for my ears, they took too much acid to play music I stupidly thought (cliché of psyché music) But I knew this album was a kind of big forest where I just wasn't able to go inside.

Yeah it takes like 2 books before it goes anywhere, but then it gets awesome, then it gets disturbing, then it gets nonsensical and disturbing at the same time. Then it ends. I couldn't stop reading it.

It never ceases to amaze me how blatant the subconscious themes are in most anime/manga. It's like the Japanese appreciate venting id, libido, and neuroses in their art, without really reflecting on what they signify. This is kind of a case in point: the entire series is most easily read as a hate letter to an annoying girlfriend (though I'm not quite finished).
