not sure if this is the thread for the PC version, but is this game still fun / worth buying?

A mate of mine tells me I need to buy this, I liked playing it for a while, the giant zombie shitloads were a bit too much at times though. I'd rather buy some clothes or whatever if this turns out to be boring after a couple of plays.

It was updated yesterday with a new gameplay mode, Survivor. And Versus Mode can now be played on all campaigns, not just the first and last one.

They fucked with the melee mechanics. They were previously overpowered but now it's ridiculously hard to get zombies off you at times. Teamwork is more important than ever now.

Okay, yeah, I hated those zombies that jumped at you and that teammates have to shoot off you. The ones with the tongues are also really annoying, smokers I think they were called.

Is the Survivor mode any good?

I only played this game in singleplayer mode for a bit, I'm sure it's a lot more fun playing this with human players.

I love it, versus is much better now because the survivors can't back themselves into a corner and spam melee like before.

Oh and me and friends' Survival record is 9 minutes.. damnn so close to gold!

I assume versus mode is a zombie team vs a human team or something?
