i'm doing some rap shit

my roomate is a rapper so basically we're stealing beats and i'm trying to make the whole thing work by eq'ing and volume but it's all really ghetto, winging shit and coming up with tstuff at the last minute. it's alot of fun, gonna make enough tracks for a cd. he's really like happy with most of the mixes right away so it's easy for me in that reespect but i'm trying to add some flava too

i probably won't share this, i'll ask him if he wants a couple tracks shared

it's really not about me and the beats the focus is definately on the rapping

i've worked with a rapper and it is fun to do

sometimes when im not busy in the studio beneboi drop by and and spits off the top of his head while i drum out beats on a machinedrum routed through an 808 routed through a 303 routed through saw2 and i complain how white he sounds

i was in a famous rap crew once

i was in a non-famous 1-man rap crew twice. thinking about doing it a third time. we (i) released no "songs".

haha ya it is fun thats for sure. more gratifying in a lot of ways. More of an audience.

I moved to Europe from the states so the opportunity to work with MCs has basically died for me. :(

lol, that list says it all. i haven't heard of a single one of those producers. i think mainstream rap production is shittier than it's ever been. but i think that is driving a real swell in underground hip hop that we haven't seen in over a decade. thank. god.

I produce for about 15 slovenian rappers... Actually I HAVE produced for about 15 slovenian rappers in last 4 years. Now I'm just lazy.
