did clark score unreleased tunes from his label mate??

Very similar to Crappy, but I doubt it's the actual track.

well, i have a live mp3 credited to aphex twin called crappy and it's definitly the same song.

I have the recording where he played it on the radio during an interview and it honestly (to me) does not sound the same - then again, the YouTube audio is horrible.

yeah that's what i was wondering. are there flacs about or is clark just pumping out mp3s to a live audience :)

actually, even if it was directly from aphex himself, richard might be so into DATs and not too mp3 savvy and gave clark some 128kbps wma's.

everything rdj produces: either music file or word doc - rich will always go back and change the .extention to .afx

grant eventually cracked it and got him onto macs in the office - as rich kept fucking up the windows system folders and getting him to reinstall windows.

Strange. I do this too.

I enjoy the fragility of the rolling lol tbh. The broken lol is like our own mortality staring us in the face, reminding us to enjoy that sunset.

Yeah, I think the end part is crappy or some remix of it. It has the same triplets thrown in, its hard to tell though. Wasn't crappy the one that became the complicated mathematical expression song eventually?

nooo.. and yes.

for some reason aphex fans have named two unreleased tunes crappy. one of them is the song he played on radio which became mathematical equation song, and the other is this acid-y song he played in a whole bunch of live sets in 97.

Ok. This is not "Crappy" per se. "Crappy" is from the Seattle 107.7 The End Ultrasound interview in like 1998(?) when Richard last played here. He spun the track that became the beginning of the Math Equation track and referred to it afterward as a "crappy one of my tracks that I'll never release". I ripped it, called it crappy.mp3, released it to the major Aphex ftp at the time and the rest is history. The track here is from the Roskilde set, as already said, and is only called Crappy because some deaf person speculated that it was a version of the Ultrasound Crappy track. Since then I think someone uploaded a (condensed) version of the Ultrasound interview, but it is missing most of the material. Unfortunately I lost my original (cassette) version of the recording.

I'm blabbering. There's your official Crappy history.
