Audiobooks, lectures, etc

Recommended Posts

I'm going on a roadtrip, helping my brother move from PA to CA, and was hoping for some suggestions as far as audiobooks, lectures, and such.

Anything I could track down on a blogspot or torrent, something you dig that might make middle America more enriching. I've got some odd ones going in transmission (Jack Vance's LYONESSE, DON QUIXOTE, and a PALE BLUE DOT), but any recommendz would be well appreciated.

Mitch Hedberg and George Carlin.

If you're going through Wyoming, good luck. That state has a way of sucking anything interesting out of your soul and replacing it with dirt, rocks, and grass.

Jorge L Borges - This Craft of Verse, Harvard University Lectures.

through the years, a man peoples a space with images of provinces, kingdoms, mountains, bays, ships, islands, fishes, rooms, tools, stars, horses and people. shortly before his death, he discovers that the patient labyrinth of lines traces the image of his own face.
