Guest viscosity
this has been posted before, but yeah, I own AKG K701s, they are about 250 new on ebay. Sennheiser is also fairly renowned for quality, especially their upper tier cans. check this forum though, very informative for this type of stuff: http://www.head-fi.org/ Quote Link to comment https://forum.watmm.com/topic/43026-dj-headphones/#findComment-961884 Share on other sites
Guest Bad Influence
For djing the only specific things your really need to look for are sound isolation and bass response. I use a set of sennheiser hd 212pro's. Decent but after a while they hurt my ears, not the drum but like the actual ear (though I think this is due to me having big ears) Quote Link to comment https://forum.watmm.com/topic/43026-dj-headphones/#findComment-962043 Share on other sites
Guest JohnTqs
just make sure they are closed. my sennheiser 280 pro's are good, but i can't really listen to just one earcup which i would like to be able to. not very bendable. Guest Bad Influence
Yes, bendability is also a prime and key factor of in choosing das headingphones. » Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... « I really need to stop getting high and posting it makes me look like an idiot. Rbrmyofr
Sennheiser HD25. Indestructible and the best headphones I have ever used for DJing with. Mine are seven years old and still going strong. One great feature is that everything is replaceable, you can buy new foam bits, new cables etc for them (I've replaced the foam ear padding bits on mine). Guest coiski
sennheiser hd-25 II are the industry-standard as a simple matter of fact that simply 90% of pro-dj nowadays in all genres from house to dubstep are using it. i enjoy mine and i've been trough a lot of cans before from sony to akgs.... unbeatable and worth the price.end of thread.
