+ what a travesty .. surely they could go into the mammoth temple of sci-fi novels and pick out something to adapt to screenplay rather than redoing this ... maybe the whole terminator franchise revival got them thinking .. or not thinking .. whatever the case may be ..

There really is no point in getting upset over it. You know the producers will be like "well we wanted to go back to the source material." Oh really. A chick with three tits wasnt in the story but you know damn well it was fucking awesome. So Im not too worried. They will fuck it up, bring in some retarded video music director like they are doing with the Nightmare on Elm Street remake. its the same shit, over and over. Its just kind of a race to the finish at this point. people are unloading what they can now, in case ten years from now its not going to be the hip thing to do.

best part of this story is that the production company producing it is called Original Films.

The worst part is half of these films appear to be remade by people who never fucking saw the original.

I can accept crappy remakes though. What really pisses me off is seeing god damn Neuromancer handed to that tit womp spears director instead of Chris Cunningham. That is the cinema travesty of the fucking century. 25 years waiting for that book to be done proper and someone had to go bungle the damn thing up.

We haven't had a Harlan Ellison movie since A Boy And His Dog.

Can Hollywood please give Mr. Ellison's fiction some love? Philip K Dick has had enough big-screen love these last three decades.

Chris is probably just as much to blame. WTF is that guy doing anyway? "I sit around my flat all night getting stoned and drawing these crazy creatures, then I go make music videos with bands no one likes." Dammit man!!
