Pas a police car earlier

Passed a police car earlier this evening at 155, but he did nothing nor did he have long enough to clock the speed I was doing, why didnt he follow me? Have I gotten off, or do they have some new fangled shit that has my speed recorded instantly?

Generally if you're going really fast and they don't pull you over, they either weren't looking [filling out paperwork] or you were going too fast to really make it worth their time.

Thats fair enough I suppose, I'd have thought they would have tried to at least get close enough to clock my plate but they did nothing at all, good stuff.

Iwasn't in the R5 by the way lol, that would never do that.

i dont know the validity of this tale but a guy i know got pulled on his bike after going 15 miles down a motorway at 200 mph, he got to some traffic lights and a single policeman pulled up behind him, but basically just had a go at him for being ridiculously dangerous and stupid because apparently the speed camera doesnt work if your going over 170ish, and was on his own so couldnt technically prove anything. sorry if this is complete bullshit.

we'd never know if it was bullshit so it does not matter. believable tho.

Yea thats believeable, they have trouble recording speed at anything over 175 and sometimes will not register at all, so totally believeable, but I wasn't going as fast as that, anyway I think I'm in the clear or I would have heard something by now right?

i know someone too who was stopped by the police because he was driving about 200km/h with his car (twice as fast as legal). They told him to drive more carefully. :confused:

He suggested they let him go, because it was past midnight and the street was empty.

im sure they did this test on top gear with a lambo or something
