Guest my usernames always really suck
I'm thinking of making a sort of "looking for work" t-shirt that lists my technical skills and qualifications in big bold noticeable letters » Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... « so that I have more than one avenue to be ignored by job recruiters than just the Internet. But I have no idea how to make my own t-shirts. Any WATMM advice? Quote Link to comment https://forum.watmm.com/topic/43355-how-do-i-make-my-own-t-shirts/ Share on other sites
boris
You gotta buy a white T-Shirt and then get one of those papers that you print on then you iron into your shirt. Guest boo
write it on with permanent marker, then never wash it, like all your other t-shirts Quote Link to comment https://forum.watmm.com/topic/43355-how-do-i-make-my-own-t-shirts/#findComment-972641 Share on other sites

modey
cafepress.com a bit pricey, but their shirts are pretty good quality, and the printing isn't bad (at least from the stuff i've had done - white printing on a dark t-shirt) Thanks Haha Confused Sad Facepalm Burger Farnsworth Big Brain Like × Quote Hide modey's signature Hide all signatures youtube | bandcamp | soundcloud | twitter | facebook 0F.digital Link to comment https://forum.watmm.com/topic/43355-how-do-i-make-my-own-t-shirts/#findComment-972646 Share on other sites
Guest Franklin
option #1 - you need a photoprinter or similar --- ive got an HP photo smart p1100... then you just buy the shirt and the special t-shirt paper at the local staples or whatever. option #2 - you take your design to a t-shirt company like the one modey suggested, or if you're in Ontario i can hook you up. option #3 - paint + masking tape Quote Link to comment https://forum.watmm.com/topic/43355-how-do-i-make-my-own-t-shirts/#findComment-972650 Share on other sites

Guest Glass Plate
Yeah they have this stuff you can mix with any acrylic paint, and it will make it stay on t-shirts decently.
