Oasis - Falling Down 12"

apparently the Gallaghers are in love with the Amorphous sound now, and picked Gaz & Brian to do a series of mixes for a 12" release. very Beatles sounding with requisite vocal flanging/sitars, etc.

Despite:

a) Being a remix of Oasis (of all things shit in the world)

b) Being an Amorphous Androgynous project (the shite side of FSOL)

This is actually bloody good, it starts of a bit shite but as it goes on it really gets quite good.

this is a total rip off of a james lavelle track (which is probably a rip off of another track)

the original track is better i think.

I remember reading somehwere Noel said this track was excellent but 99% of his fanbase don't have the attention span for it.

I think he likes it cause it sounds like Tomorrow Never Knows.

Well the original title was gonna by Tomorrow Never Noels but I think they thought it'd be legally rather dubious.

is the song title 'falling down' a reference to how one of the Oasis band members was pushed vigorously by audience member during one of their live shows?
