I didn't think it was using the kids solely for the sake of creepiness. The trailer doesn't really do the film justice. It has some incredible moments. It is also breathtakingly beautiful, visually. If you like horror films, this one is worth seeing.

Wouldn't really call it a horror movie. It's just a movie about friendship, love, childhood...... oh and vampires.

Yeah, this is quite easily one of the two or three best films of the last decade.

I am admittedly a sucker for thought provoking vampire movies...in fact, I like vampire movies, period.

This one was brilliant though...and gorgeous...and hilarious.

I feel like I read about this for months and months, then forgot about it after I missed it at the theater, but I finally got around to it this morning. No disappointments.

seems like the dialogue was maybe much better than it led on, but it wasn't that important to me.

Yeah I loved this movie but I also loved Twilight, so.

I do remember having a few niggles about the writing and I think translation had something to do with it.

"Forgive me." is a much different bit of dialog than "Sorry."

Nope. I'd have your teeth looked at.

That being said, I regret that I rented the godforsaken Quantum of Solace instead of Twilight. At least I can see post-teen pretending to be teen ass in that one.
